If you want to swim with dolphins during your Florida vacation and experience these wonderful animals up close in their natural surroundings, you will definitely get your money's worth at the Dolphin Research Center in Marathon. You can either just pay the entrance fee and watch the wonderful animals or you can book one of the programs and experience them live and up close. We experienced the "Dolphin Encounter" program ourselves and are still very impressed - absolutely recommendable and a visit to the Dolphin Research Center can be wonderfully combined with a drive on the Overseas Highway and a detour to the Florida Keys.
